NEW ROSS PORT
IRELAND’S ONLY INLAND PORT
A Port Steeped in History yet Focused on Your Future
The Port of New Ross has a wide choice of facilities in three locations on both sides of the River Barrow at New Ross town.
On the Western side of the river is the 215m-long Rosbercon Jetty, owned by Stafford Shipping, which has a weighbridge and can cater for two vessels at the same time.
Also on the Western side of the river is Raheen Jetty, a dry bulk facility, at 60m long.
Downriver at Stokestown is a 60m pontoon berth with weighbridge and nearby warehousing and open storage.
Mobile cranes are available on all berths.
Each of the port locations have good access to national primary routes and motorways, which was enhanced by the opening of the Rose Kennedy Fitzgerald Bridge in 2020. The surrounding hinterland is very accessible through the national road network. Dublin and Limerick are a 2 hour drive, with the heart of Ireland’s Midlands just 2.5 hours away.
